Without a basic framework of history, it is impossible to appreciate the many ancient sites that you will see on a typical tour of the Holy Land.  For this reason, we have created a course built around an interactive timeline divided into 5 categories: the Bible, the Levant, Egypt, Mesopotamia and the West.  Rather than focus on a dry narration of events, we string together important people, artifacts, architecture and literature.  Each write-up is accompanied with maps, photography from the ancient sites, and pictures from museums around the world. 

The course covers 10  periods.  Each period concludes with a quiz, and the course concludes with a final exam.   Student progress is tracked in their account.   Upon completion the student will receive a certificate of completion.
